Economy Basics: Earn, Unlock, Spend
Wardogs runs on a single currency: in-game dollars. You earn dollars by doing things that help your team, and you spend them on the gear you need to keep doing them. There is no separate premium currency — everything on this site is priced in the same dollars you earn in a match.
Where money comes from
Almost every useful action pays out. The big earners are:
- Combat — eliminating enemies and holding objectives.
- Support — reviving teammates and resupplying ammo.
- Logistics — transporting cargo and repairing assets.
- Construction — building and completing structures.
See the full, versioned list on the Rewards page.
Unlock cost vs. purchase cost
Every item on this site lists two numbers:
- Unlock cost — a one-time price to make an item available to buy. Items with
an unlock cost of
$0are available from the start. - Purchase cost — what you pay each time you buy or spawn the item.
A cheap weapon with a high purchase cost can end up more expensive over a long match than a pricey one you unlock once and rearm cheaply.
Spend where you earn
The economy rewards specialization. If you’re the squad’s driver, the Transport Truck pays for itself through transport rewards. If you’re the medic, a stack of Medkits turns revives into steady income.
Prices change between patches — always check the version selector on the Items page to see current numbers.
